The warm, cosy ambience created by the real open fire, delicious food and welcoming hospitality, alongside an abundance of festive decorations and twinkling lights inside and out, will ensure that you remember this Christmas for many years to come.

Arrive in time to settle into your warm and welcoming room before enjoying hot mulled wine and mince pies in the cosy bar and lounge. Later in the afternoon, enjoy the festive sounds of our local carol singers outside the front of the hotel to get you in the Christmas spirit.
Your evening commences with a sparkling cocktail and canapés reception in the bar where our General Manager and his team will inform you of the exciting three-day programme that lies ahead.
We then make our way to the stylish restaurant for an exquisite four-course Gala dinner. Following your meal, a magical, candlelit procession to the shores of lake Derwentwater commences. Armed with a glass of Baileys hot chocolate in one hand and a sparkler in the other, enjoy the serenity of the Lake District at night (weather permitting).

Our hearty Cumbrian breakfast on Christmas morning has added sparkle with a glass of Bucks Fizz, and who knows, perhaps Santa will still be about!
Enjoy the morning at your leisure, whether you choose to relax at the hotel, take a stroll to the lake to feed the ducks, or join in our Christmas treasure hunt around Keswick for the chance to win a prize. Be sure to take part in our ‘Guess the weight of the Christmas cake’ competition at some point!
After the Lakeland air has stimulated your appetite, it will be time to join us in the restaurant where your orders will be taken for a sumptuous five-course Christmas Day lunch followed by coffee and Christmas cake with the King's speech at 3pm.
In the evening, our fabulous Cumbrian ‘Lakes & Fells’ buffet will be served, allowing you to sample some traditional local dishes prepared by our Head Chef and his team. To top it all off, we have prepared a fun Christmas quiz for a chance to win a prize.

After a truly traditional Cumbrian breakfast, wrap up warm and enjoy a guided walk to a scenic location where you can enjoy a freshly prepared packed lunch. Depending on how energetic you feel, continue your walk and take in the scenery, or return to town and take advantage of the Boxing Day sales.
In the afternoon enjoy a classic game of bingo for the chance to win some fabulous prizes. Then, to give you a proper send off, enjoy a special mouth-watering, four-course farewell dinner followed by an evening of relaxing live music performed by our resident singer.
